It has not been a good start to 2026 for Tottenham, with the defeat against Bournemouth hitting the Lilywhites hard.

The draws against Brentford and Sunderland were frustrating enough, but losing to Bournemouth in midweek has been a real hammer blow for Tottenham and Thomas Frank.

Spurs are sitting in 14th place going into the FA Cup weekend, and fans have already starting suggesting who could replace Frank in the dugout.

There’s still a long way to go this season, but it’s not looking good for anyone associated with the club right now. Judging by the latest supercomputer update, it’s not going to get much better, either.

As per Opta’s supercomputer, Tottenham are now projected to finish 12th place this season with a tally of 50 points.

That’s two places and one point lower than last week’s prediction for Spurs. What’s worrying is that outfits like Fulham and Crystal Palace have now leapfrogged the Lilywhites after the latest round of games.

Given the struggles of those two teams, you’d hope Spurs can outdo them in the long-run, but Opta clearly doesn’t think so.
