Tottenham are considering accelerating a move for a forward this month following Mohammed Kudus' injury blow. 

Spurs, who have looked increasingly toothless in recent weeks and drew chants of 'boring, boring Tottenham' from their own fans in a stalemate against Brentford last week, may take advantage of the January transfer window, especially in light of Kudus' latest issue. 

The 25-year-old limped off against Sunderland in their 1-1 draw on Sunday and scans revealed the injury is worse than the club had initially thought. 

It is a thigh injury that will keep him out for a number of games, though a timeline of his possible return has not yet been communicated. 

Spurs were already light in forward areas due to long term injuries to Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison and Dominic Solanke.
