Manchester United are reportedly ready to make a move for Palmeiras striker Vitor Roque. The English club plan to offer around £42m (€50m), according to Fichajes

Strong form draws Premier League attention

The 20-year-old forward has been one of Palmeiras’ most consistent performers. He has 16 goal contributions this season and continues to grow under Abel Ferreira.

Manchester United already tested the waters with a £29m (€35m) offer, but Palmeiras rejected it immediately. The Brazilian champions have made it clear that negotiations start only at £42m (€50m).

Palmeiras hold firm

Palmeiras paid £21m (€25.5m) to sign Roque from Barcelona in February. The club still view him as central to their long-term project. Even if a transfer happens, Palmeiras would not receive the full amount since Barcelona retain 20% of his economic rights.

Sources told O Globo that Palmeiras will only consider a sale if the proposal reflects his “true market value”. They plan to build around Roque, seeing him as a leader on and off the pitch.
