Is it possible to see both your future and your past in the same moment?
Of course it is, because it happened to us today.
We saw the future and the past come together in perfect synchronicity. We had O’Neill in the dugout at Hampden for a game against the Ibrox club and of course he won it. At the same time, we saw some of the players finally come to the fore, the players many of us have been wondering about for months.
There is still a lot not quite there yet with Johnny Kenny’s game but it’s coming and you can see that in every appearance. He is improving match by match. We still need to go out and sign a striker. There is no question about this. This kid is doing just fine though.
He is growing into a very good Celtic player and he is giving us flashes that he could lead the line himself, and for a long time. I thought he was exceptional today. A few moments did not quite come off for him because of experience or because he still needs a little refinement, but he bullied them, he harassed them, he...
