A woman has officially been charged after a former Bournemouth player lost his leg in a car cracsh on the motorway, according to a report.

Jordan Chiedozie, who is the son of former Tottenham winger John, was on the hard shoulder of the M27 at the time. He was outside his car, investigating a flat tyre when he was hit.

He was put into an an induced coma, and the 31-year-old, who was with Bournemouth for seven years, had to have his leg amputated.

Now, according to the Sun, 45-year-old Anna Bogusiewicz has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drink driving.

The report states that Bogusiewicz will next appear at Southampton Crown Court on December 1.
