Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a move for a Championship starlet, but they are not the front-runners for his signature.

According to reports, Tottenham’s transfer policy has shifted over recent months, with the club now prioritising signing proven and established players.

However, that does not mean that Spurs are not continuing to scour the market for uncut gems, as we saw with their permanent signing of Mathys Tel and their acquisition of Kota Takai in the summer.

According to TBR Football, Leicester City youngster Jeremy Monga is now on the radar of several top-flight sides, including Tottenham.

Despite being just 16 years of age, he has made 11 appearances in the Championship for the Foxes this season, scoring once and assisting once.

Tottenham Hotspur have been joined in the race for Monga by Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle, who are all monitoring his performances closely.
