Bernardo Silva has criticised Michael Oliver for making a mistake in Man City's 1-0 loss to Aston Villa.

Villa secured a third successive home win over Pep Guardiola's side when Matty Cash produced a neat finish to score the only goal of the game.

However, Silva contested the circumstances which led to Cash's goal, claiming that Matheus Nunes was fouled by Lucas Digne and that his team should have been awarded a free kick, instead of a corner to Villa.

The hosts scored from the resultant set-play and midfielder Silva was not happy, urging the official to apologise and 'don't be arrogant'.

"[It] Should have been a foul. It wasn't and it was a corner they scored from it," he said.
