Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has lauded Casemiro after the player’s incredible performance in Saturday’s 4-2 triumph against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Casemiro produced a standout performance as United clinched all three points against Brighton at Old Trafford.

United’s goals were netted by Matheus Cunha, Casemiro and Bryan Mbeumo before Danny Welbeck convered a free-kick to give the visitors some hope of mounting a comeback.

Charalampos Kostoulas scored another late strike to make it 3-2, but Mbeumo completed his brace in the 97th minute of proceedings to ensure United ran out winners.

Casemiro was sensational for United. In addition to his goal, he also registered an assist for Cunha’s opener. In his post-match press conference, Amorim praised the Brazilian, highlighting his mentality to claw back from the brink of oblivion to becoming a key player once again.
