6 Trippier: Solid in the first half but troubled by substitute Kevin in the second, when he needed more protection from in front.

7 Thiaw: Challenging game up against the impressive Jimenez, whose movement troubled Newcastle. But stuck to his task well and was key when game was on a knife-edge after leveller.

6 Botman: Was fortunate a sloppy pass wasn’t punished by Lukic in the first half. The same Fulham player beat him to header for goal. Botman then had to be replaced.

7 Burn: Solid against the fast and unpredictable Adama Traore. Fulham looked more threatening down the opposite flank.

6 Miley: Some tidy touches and didn’t shirk the physical battle but Newcastle lost control in midfield after their bright opening.
