Joshua Zirkzee has seen his role drastically reduced at Manchester United this season.

The Netherlands international played 82 minutes from four matches and didn’t start in their EFL Cup defeat to Grimsby Town in August. He hasn’t featured for Manchester United since their defeat to Brentford on September 27th.

Over the past few weeks, Zirkzee has been regularly linked with a move to Italy in the winter market.

Earlier this month, Voetbal International reported he’s in disbelief with Ruben Amorim sidelining him. Therefore, he wants to leave Manchester United in January, to improve his chances of making it to the World Cup with the Netherlands.

Orgullo Biri now report Real Betis and Sevilla could be options for the forward.

They claim he fears missing out on the national team squad for the World Cup. To avoid this, the 24-year-old has to feature regularly, which is unlikely to happen at Old Trafford.

The two Andalusian clubs see the Dutchman as a market opportunity and are considering a loan move. The report state ‘informal talks have already begun and could accelerate in November’. It’s likely that both Real Betis and Sevilla have started informal talks.
