Daniel Farke has some big decisions to make ahead of Leeds United’s Friday night clash against West Ham United. Back-to-back defeats to Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley have raised concerns, and the Leeds boss could be tempted to freshen up his starting XI at Elland Road.

The loss to Tottenham before the October break was harsh. Leeds were the better side for long spells and should have scored more than once, only for two deflected goals to punish them. Despite the defeat, there were plenty of positives to take from the performance.

Against Burnley, however, it was a different story. Leeds again dominated possession but were wasteful in front of goal and sloppy at the back. Mistakes crept in, and for the first time this season, there was a genuine sense that changes are needed.

Farke confirmed that Willy Gnonto, Noah Okafor, Ethan Ampadu and Pascal Struijk are all doubts to face West Ham, though he plans to make late fitness calls on each. Even so, it feels inevitable that there will be adjustments to his lineup on Friday night.
