Danny Rohl faces a tough challenge to get supporters on board at Rangers.

The Rangers supporters are furious with the circumstances that led to Russell Martin’s sacking and the appointment of Rohl after just eight league matches.

Rangers are miles off the top of the Scottish Championship and have also struggled in the Europa League so far.

Rohl will hope that he can turn it around, but he is starting on the back foot at Ibrox, with the fanbase hugely disillusioned.

Rohl was finally appointed as Rangers manager on 20 October, after a series of twists and turns in the hiring process.

Ian Bennett, chairman of the Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Trust, believes that Rohl is well-equipped to handle the challenge with the Gers, given his impact at Hillsborough.

However, he warned the new Light Blues boss that immediate results are a non-negotiable to get supporters to believe in him.

Speaking exclusively to Ibrox News, he said: “When he came to Wednesday, there were huge problems and there still are.
