Melvin Boel is coach at Go Ahead Eagles, and he’s preparing to face Aston Villa in the Europa League this week.

Ahead of that UEFA match against Aston Villa, Boel has revealed he’s been getting help from Liverpool. The Go Ahead manager has no connection to Anfield himself but his formative coaching years were spent at Feyenoord, and he left around the same time as Slot.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the match against Aston Villa, Boel revealed the help he’s getting from Liverpool.

De Stentor report: ‘In the lead-up to the Aston Villa match, manager Melvin Boel tapped into the knowledge of his former colleagues who are at Liverpool. He received footage from Aston Villa, allowing Go Ahead Eagles to optimally prepare for tomorrow’s match.”
