Aston Villa have completely turned their season around after a poor start to the Premier League campaign – and one summer transfer decision looks to have been the correct one after a 2-1 win over Tottenham.

Unai Emery’s side didn’t score in their opening four-and-a-half games in the league, but they’ve been rampant in front of goal recently to turn their form around.

Consecutive home wins over Fulham and Burnley were enough to get the ball rolling, but by far their biggest win of the Premier League season came on Sunday as they beat Tottenham 2-1 away from home.

Aston Villa have now put themselves in the top half after three wins in a row, and a huge reason for that has been one summer transfer decision – with the sale of Jacob Ramsey allowing Emiliano Buendia to shine.
