Goals in each half from hosts Nottingham Forest condemned Manchester United’s Under-18s to only a second league defeat of the season, despite Godwill Kukonki’s 49th-minute header.

Darren Fletcher’s young Reds have shown their quality regularly so far this season, dominating some opponents and showing grit to overcome others, but faced a resolute Forest side on Saturday lunchtime.
