Manchester United summer signing Senne Lammens has caught attention after a positive debut against Sunderland earlier this month.

Lammens helped the Red Devils claim their first clean sheet of the season in the 2-0 win over the Black Cats.

He is expected to retain his starting spot against Liverpool tomorrow.

The Daily Mail have now revealed that “Lammens has asked to come into Carrington on days off for extra sessions, and takes detailed notes after games and training.”

Manager Ruben Amorim admitted that the Belgian “showed a lot of composure” and the United supporters already “like him”.

The young goalkeeper received a couple of loud ovations from the crowd when he claimed high balls.

He made three saves, including one in the injury time to win the Man of the Match award.

The reaction from the supporters showed how low expectations currently are at the club.

Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir have made numerous errors at the back, directly leading to United conceding goals.

The entire defensive unit has lacked confidence due to the high-profile errors from the last line of defence.

Lammens displayed great composure and was notably vocal inside his box.
