Rangers are facing even more scrutiny in their search for their next manager.

With one win from their first seven games, Rangers are in absolute turmoil, and it demonstrates just how crucial their next managerial appointment is going to be.

Russell Martin faced the sack at Ibrox, arguably weeks later than he should have, with several names already linked with the vacancy in Glasgow.

One of those mooted for the job is St Mirren’s Stephen Robinson, though Simon Jordan has warned the Light Blues of the potential consequences behind that hire.

Being an improvement on Martin will be an easy task, though that will be nowhere near enough for the next manager to be deemed a success at Ibrox.
