Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo, but there is competition from another Premier League team.

Tottenham Hotspur addressed some of their most pressing issues during the summer transfer window. However, one notable problem failed to be resolved before the window slammed shut.

Spurs did not sign a left winger and there has been a shortage in the position so far this season, with every option from last season gone. Mathys Tel and Richarlison are only being played as strikers, while Heung-min Son moved to LAFC. Spurs are also no longer able to play Mikey Moore, as he is on loan at Rangers.

Xavi Simons, Wilson Odobert and Brennan Johnson have all been fielded on the left wing, but none of these players have managed to consistently maintain their place in the position.

Spurs could look to the only team to have defeated them this season in order to address the most prominent issue in the Tottenham first-team squad.
