Ruben Amorim guided his side to a much needed victory in front of home support last weekend as Sunderland were swept aside by two goals to nil at Old Trafford.

The win helped ease the mounting pressure on Amorim’s shoulders after a turbulent start to the season has left more questions than answers over his suitability for the role long term.
