West Ham United face a 2-0 defeat to Arteta’s Arsenal side after Nuno’s side struggled to make an impact on the game and woefully wasted the few good chances that were provided to them.

Nicholas Fullkrug has become the topic of conversation after his underwhelming performances so far for the Hammers this season, but more specifically, his disappearance while on the pitch has become visibly more apparent than ever in the last two games. The Krauts' best chance would come in the second minute, where he had the opportunity to head the ball into the net from close range, giving the Hammers a lead early on, which was desperately needed.

Bar his moment of potential glory, Fullkrug spent the remainder of his time on the pitch lethargically strolling around and attempting to find himself in the correct positions, but all of his movements would transpire to nothing, leaving the German to be hooked at the 60th minute for teenager Callum Marshall.

Marshall’s substitution marks his first appearance in Claret & Blue colours. Who expectidly struggled to have a large impact upon the game, as did others, with his only chance coming from a not-so-well-connected header from a corner...
