Naby Keita has admitted he is beginning to enjoy his football again after a difficult few seasons. The former Liverpool star was often plagued by injury during his time with the Reds, with such issues limiting him to just eight Premier League appearances during his final year at the club.

The Guinean left Liverpool in the summer of 2023 at the end of his contract, and went on to return to Germany as he signed for Werder Bremen on a free transfer.

However, his woes continued with the Bundesliga outfit before he was bombed out by the club after refusing to board the team coach after learning he would not be named in the starting XI for a clash with Bayer Leverkusen in April 2024.
