Chelsea flop Alexandre Pato may have failed to make much of an impression at Stamford Bridge but he has a net worth higher than Blues legend Jose Mourinho.

The striker, who turned 36 last month, was once considered one of the best young players on the planet. His stunning performances for Internacional in his native Brazil, where he won the Club World Cup, earned him a move to Serie A giants AC Milan. There he won both Golden Boy and Serie A Young Footballer of the Year awards, before his goals fired the Rossoneri to the league title in 2011.

But injuries repeatedly struck and he ended up returning to Brazil with Corinthians and then Sao Paulo, before eventually arriving at Chelsea on loan in 2016 - where he played only twice, scoring once. A journeyman career that also included stints in Spain with Villarreal, at Chinese club Tianjin Tianhai, playing for MLS side Orlando City and two further spells with Sao Paulo, made him a very wealthy man indeed.
