Tottenham have endured a fantastic start to the new season under Thomas Frank. The Lilywhites are unbeaten in their last seven games in all competitions, winning four and drawing the remaining three matches. Not only that, but their impressive run of form has seen the club jump up to third on the Premier League table, just two points behind league leaders Arsenal.

Despite the positive start to the new campaign, there are still some glaring issues on the pitch that the North London club failed to address in the summer transfer window. One issue that particularly concerns Thomas Frank right now is the lack of options for the left-wing position.

Tottenham face the risk of losing out on Antoine Semenyo in the coming months.

Fans were expecting Spurs to make a move for a new left-winger once Heung-Min Son announced that he was ending his ten-year stint at N17. However, Daniel Levy and Co. chose to stick with their current crop of players to fill the void left behind by the South Korean instead. In hindsight, that decision seems to be backfiring, with Frank now struggling to find a consistent option on that flank.
