Graeme Souness has handed 'smart' chairman Andrew Cavenagh a ringing endorsement, as Rangers push for the Scottish Premiership under Danny Rohl.

The former player-manager has been impressed with the club's rejuvenation under the German, who was appointed by Cavenagh following the disastrous 123-day reign of his predecessor, Russell Martin.
