Sandro has teased Tottenham fans regarding a potential return to the North London club as Roberto De Zerbi goes about finalising his backroom staff.

The former Spurs midfielder, who is affectionately known as ‘the beast’ by the Lilywhites faithful, has been one of the go-to men for information on De Zerbi since the Italian’s appointment.

The 37-year-old served as the captain at Benevento under the former Brighton boss, and Sandro is convinced that De Zerbi is the perfect fit for Tottenham.

The former Spurs midfielder believes the current Tottenham squad will love working with De Zerbi, and he has now thrown a big hint about a possible reunion.

There have been rumours doing the rounds that the Brazilian will be part of the Italian’s coaching set-up at Hotspur Way.

In fact, when asked directly about it a couple of days ago, Sandro refused to rule out a possible return to Tottenham, revealing that the fans will discover the answer soon.
