Patson Daka was gifted a double as Leicester City equalised late on to draw 2-2 with Preston North End.

The King Power Stadium saw a four goal thriller that saw the home side take the lead after a mistake from Andrew Moran let Daka put the Foxes 1-0 up.

The Irishman would make up for his mistake by levelling with a finish that crept over the line, in the 38th minute.

It was a double in quick succession as Ben Whiteman’s looped header from a corner gave Preston the lead before the half time break.

North End were set for a decent afternoon, looking like they were set to see it out, although another mistake at the back allowed Patson Daka to pounce on it and equaliser late on for the Foxes.

Whilst it was a frustrating result for the Lilywhites, Preston’s efficiency in the attack with limited chances was promising, despite being pinned back with Leicester’s 28 chances.

The consequences this result had on the standings with minimal, with Leicester remaining 22nd, one point behind Portsmouth who have a game in hand on the Foxes.
