For one last day the pundits and predictors are out in full force with their own opinions on West Ham United’s FA Cup quarter final against Leeds.

Seemingly each TV personality and former player has their own opinion based on past experience and club loyalties but the same cannot be said of OPTA’s so-called supercomputer: The software runs approaching 10,000 simulations to come out with its own prediction based on cold hard data.

Emphatic ‘43% West Ham win’ prediction

For according to theleedspress.com, whether it be home advantage, Leeds’ poor away form or just the Hammers’ recent uptick in results:

“The game is expected to be a close call, but according to the Opta Analyst Supercomputer, West Ham have a 43.4% chance of winning. Which will be very strange to Leeds fans, considering the only time these two teams met ended in a defeat for Nuno’s men. The Whites have a 29.9% chance and a draw stands at 26.7%.”
