Alisson Becker has pledged to be back in goal for Liverpool and Brazil by the end of April. The Brazilian shot-stopper has not featured for Arne Slot's side since the 4-0 victory over Galatasaray in the Champions League.

Slot recently said he expected Alisson to be out until 'towards the end of the season' with the goalkeeper understood to have suffered another injury. However, Alisson has taken to social media to say reports of an additional injury are untrue.

Instead, the ex-Roma goalkeeper said he is currently recovering from the problem he picked up in training in-between the triumph over Galatasaray and the 2-1 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion.
