Manchester United are considering a move for Arsenal left-back Myles Lewis-Skelly, according to reports.

The 19-year-old has struggled to secure a regular role under Mikel Arteta this season, starting just one game in the Premier League and 11 more spread across the Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

United, meanwhile, are in the market for a new left-back to provide competition for Luke Shaw and to bolster the squad ahead of a likely return to the Champions League next season.

According to The Daily Mail, Lewis-Skelly has been ‘offered up to United by intermediaries’ ahead of the summer transfer window.

The report adds that United have Lewis-Skelly ‘under consideration’.

Speaking earlier this month, Arteta insisted that Lewis-Skelly is ‘doing well’ at Arsenal despite his lack of consistent playing time in the Premier League.
