Igor Tudor has left Tottenham Hotspur after just 44 days in charge, with the club confirming the departures of the Croatian and his backroom staff, including goalkeeping coach Tomislav Rogic and physical coach Riccardo Ragnacci, on Sunday evening.

In what amounts to one of the more dignified exits given the circumstances, Tudor has agreed to walk away without a financial settlement, according to talkSPORT’s chief football correspondent Alex Crook. The decision to waive a severance package is a rare and notable gesture from a manager who could legitimately have claimed compensation for the remainder of his contract, and one that has not gone unnoticed among supporters who have otherwise had very little to appreciate during his tenure.

Tudor’s record speaks for itself and requires little elaboration. One point from five Premier League games, a Champions League exit at the hands of Atletico Madrid on a 7-5 aggregate, and 20 goals conceded across all competitions during his watch.
