Tottenham Hotspur are in the hunt for attacking reinforcements owing to their problems of creating and scoring goals.

They have been short of consistent attacking options since Son Heung-min departed last summer, coupled with long-term injuries to James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski. Spurs currently have decent forward options, but none with a consistent supply of goals. In fact, Richarlison is the club’s top scorer with 10 goals in all competitions, which speaks volumes about their problems.

The North Londoners have been criticised for their lack of productivity in the final third, which is something the Hotspur Way chiefs must make a priority to address in the summer transfer window. And it looks like Tottenham have already identified a player to bolster their forward options.

According to an exclusive report from SportsBoom, Tottenham and Arsenal are interested in Real Madrid playmaker Brahim Diaz. Real Madrid do not have any immediate desire to sell him, but if the 26-year-old pushes to leave in the summer, they plan to open negotiations in the €40–€45 million range.
