Tottenham Hotspur appear to have made a major error when it comes to Yang Min-hyeok, who has had an extremely frustrating couple of months after a strong first half of the campaign.

The 19-year-old winger had a big impact at Portsmouth after joining the club on loan last summer, scoring three goals in 16 appearances for Pompey.

Yang made decisive contributions at crucial times for the South Coast club and appeared to be on his way to becoming a fan favourite at Fratton Park.

However, the Spurs teenager was recalled in January and loaned out to Championship leaders Coventry City, where things have not gone according to plan.

The switch to Coventry has proven to be disastrous for the winger so far, with Yang having managed just one start for his new side, which came in the FA Cup last month.

According to Football.London, the pacy winger has only made three appearances in the Championship for Coventry, totalling just 29 minutes of football.

In fact, the outlet reveals that the Tottenham man has not made it into the Sky Blues’ matchday squad for over a month.
