SAINTS skipper Jack Stephens admitted he was "not surprised" by Shea Charles stunning goal in a 2-0 win over Oxford United on Saturday.

Charles, 22, bent an effort into the top corner from at least 35 yards out to double Southampton's advantage at St Mary's.

The Northern Ireland international also scored a corker last month to secure a historic 4-3 comeback victory over Leicester City in added time.
