Tommy Leigh scored his third goal in two games as Bristol Rovers boosted their Sky Bet League Two survival hopes with a 2-0 win at relegation rivals Barrow.
Leigh, who netted both goals in last weekend's victory over Crewe, set Rovers on the way to a first ever EFL win at Holker Street after 27 minutes.
He was also involved in the build-up to the visitors' match clincher as top scorer Fabrizio Cavegn slid in to convert a misdirected shot from Joel Senior after 56 minutes.
Rovers' third victory in four games lifted Steve Evans' nine points clear of the relegation places.
Barrow, however, remain out of the bottom two only on goal difference from Newport.
Wyll Stanway had already saved well from Jack Sparkes before the latter crossed for Leigh to tap in at the far post.
Stanway then prevented Sparkes making it 2-0 as the Cumbrians struggled to create a worthwhile attack.
Cavegn's 15th goal of the season sealed the points as Barrow were denied a consolation when unmarked Lewis Shipley shot wide in stoppage time.
