Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of a highly-rated German international may be about to get harder ahead of the summer window.

According to some sources, Felix Nmecha is seen as the ideal addition to their midfield engine room by Tottenham.

A report from TEAMtalk has now confirmed that Borussia Dortmund are now facing mounting pressure to fend off interest from the Premier League in the 25-year-old, with Tottenham one of those interested.

The Bundesliga club are open to selling Nmecha for €70m (£61m) this summer, but they are also making steps to protect their asset.
