Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly contacted Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) chief Howard Webb regarding their grievances with recent officiating decisions. Spurs are understood to have been left frustrated by decisions, with BBC Sport reporting that the complaint from the north London outfit centres on inconsistent rulings that have resulted in goals being permitted or ruled out due to contact within the penalty box.
The club are believed to feel they have been disadvantaged by several crucial decisions this campaign, with the most recent occurring on Sunday during their 2-1 loss to Fulham. Raul Jimenez avoided being penalised for his involvement in the opening goal when he made contact with defender Radu Dragusin before the ball dropped to Harry Wilson, who broke the deadlock. Officials determined that the contact from the Mexican did not reach the threshold for a foul.
