Everton forward Jack Grealish has admitted he is determined to "come back stronger" as he issued an update on his recovery from a season-ending injury. The 30-year-old has missed the last six matches after suffering a stress fracture in the 1-0 win against former club Aston Villa on January 18.

David Moyes then confirmed in a press conference that Grealish, who joined the Toffees on loan from Manchester City last summer, is expected to go under the knife and miss the remainder of the season.

A matter of days later, Grealish posted on social media following surgery, admitting he is "gutted" but vowed to come back "fitter, stronger and better than before". He also hinted that he could remain at Everton beyond the end of his season-long loan, praising everyone at the club for the support he has had since his move.
