Tottenham Hotspur have not given up their pursuit of an exciting Premier League winger as his future remains uncertain ahead of the summer.

Many Spurs fans were frustrated at the club’s inability to strengthen their attack in January and the Lilywhites are now paying for that a bit, with relegation appearing a very real possibility for the club amidst their injury crisis.

Should Tottenham get out of trouble and secure their Premier League status, one would expect them to prioritise adding firepower to their forward line.

Journalist Mark Brus has told CaughtOffside that, according to his contacts, Savinho is not certain to be at Man City next summer despite recently signing a new contract.

He reveals that Tottenham showed a ‘strong interest’ in the Brazilian last summer and even made a £70m offer, which was swiftly rejected by Man City.

The interest of the North London club in Savinho has not gone away, but there have not been any fresh contacts recently regarding a summer deal.
