David Moyes insists Everton don’t set out to play any differently in their home games to their away matches. But he maintains the first season for any club at a new stadium is always difficult.

The Blues’ 3-2 triumph at Newcastle United on Saturday was their 12th Premier League success on the road since Moyes returned to the club and their seventh of the season. Only Arsenal (8) have won more away games in the 2025-26 campaign.

In contrast they have failed to taste victory at Hill Dickinson Stadium in their last seven fixtures in all competitions. The curious sequence ensures that the home team has failed to win in any of Everton’s most recent 13 matches.
