The question we are asking Newcastle United fans today is – Would you prefer Barcelona or Chelsea in Champions League last 16?

Eddie Howe and his NUFC players progressed to the last 16 in the competition on Tuesday night.

Newcastle United having finished 12th in the Swiss League phase with  14 points.

United needing to get through the play-off round, which they did in dominant fashion. A 6-1 victory in Baku, followed by a 3-2 home win at St James’ Park, so a 9-3 aggregate triumph.

Barcelone were automatic qualifiers for the last 16 of the Champions League. They ended up fifth in the Swiss League with 16 points.

Chelsea the same points but a worse goal difference, so they were sixth in the top eight automatic qualifying positions.

So as a Newcastle United fans – Would you prefer Barcelona or Chelsea in Champions League last 16?
