Ruben Loftus-Cheek has revealed the severe injuries he suffered following a horrific head collision whilst playing for AC Milan, which will sideline him for a minimum of two months.

The England midfielder was stretchered off with his head and neck in a brace after a clash with Parma goalkeeper Edoardo Corvi during an aerial challenge at the San Siro last night.

It has now been confirmed that the ex-Chelsea player, 30, is set for an eight-week spell out of action after sustaining a broken jaw. He also lost several teeth in the gruesome collision that resulted in his hospitalisation.

These injuries mean Loftus-Cheek will be unable to participate in England's upcoming camp for friendly matches against Uruguay and Japan at the end of March.
