The Denver Summit haven’t hit the pitch yet for their first-ever National Women’s Soccer League match, but the club is already expected to make history. The Summit announced on Thursday that they have sold more than 45,000 tickets for the home opener against the Washington Spirit, on March 28, at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium (home of the Denver Broncos of the NFL). The current single-game attendance record is 40,091.
