Eberechi Eze looked as if he "needed the world to swallow him up" against Brentford, according to Alan Shearer.

Arsenal travelled to the Gtech Community Stadium to take on the Bees on Thursday evening with hopes of expanding their lead at the top of the Premier League table. However, what ensued on the night was a 1-1 draw between the two London clubs, with goals coming from Noni Madueke and Keane Lewis-Potter.

While he was initially named in Mikel Arteta's Starting XI, Eze failed to make much of a mark against Brentford, subbed off at half-time for Martin Odegaard. And Premier League legend, Shearer, didn't like what he saw from the Englishman on the night.
