Cristian Romero was sent off for a reckless challenge on Casemiro, as 10-man Tottenham Hotspur fell to a 2-0 defeat to a rejuvenated Manchester United side at Old Trafford.

The Spurs skipper’s red card in the 29th minute changed the dynamics of the game. Bryan Mbeumo scored minutes from a well-worked training ground set-piece, with Bruno Fernandes sealing the deal for Manchester United nine minutes from time.
