Tottenham winger Mikey Moore remained at Rangers beyond the January window.

There were fears that Tottenham could recall Moore from his loan at Ibrox after a hugely positive stint under Danny Rohl.

Various big names in North London, like Tim Sherwood, wanted Moore back at Tottenham, but no deal came to fruition for the winger.

The Englishman didn’t return to Spurs, so he featured and got on the scoresheet as Rangers secured a 5-1 win against Kilmarnock on Wednesday.

Insight has now been revealed from the Lilywhites that has explained why Moore stuck around Govan for the rest of the campaign.

There was a real fear that the Gers could lose one of their best attacking players halfway through the campaign.

Rohl has managed to get the best out of the 18-year-old, who continues to go from strength to strength in the Scottish Premiership.

That was showcased with his late strike against Kilmarnock as his goal and assist helped to secure a 5-1 victory at Ibrox.

Things could have been so different if Tottenham had brought the youngster back to N17 during the January transfer window.
