Tottenham Hotspur fans were hopeful of seeing their club make at least one new signing on transfer deadline day, but nothing materialised.

In mid-January, Spurs signed Conor Gallagher in a £34million deal from Atletico Madrid. Teenager left-back Souza also joined Tottenham from Santos, but other than that, no fresh faces joined Thomas Frank’s squad. Instead, the club loaned out a couple of academy starlets in the final hours of the deadline day.

There have also been a few first-teamers linked with exits in the last couple of weeks of the January transfer window. One of those was Radu Dragusin.

Radu Dragusin was heavily linked with a return to Serie A. The centre-back, who’s made just 3 appearances this season, made his first start in the Premier League since recovering from an ACL injury during the 2-2 draw with Manchester City on Sunday, emerged as a target for AC Milan and AS Roma.
