Manchester United have registered three Premier League victories on the bounce.

They have reclaimed their fourth-place spot in the league table after a dramatic 3-2 victory over Fulham yesterday.

Caretaker head coach Michael Carrick has enjoyed a perfect start and the early signs suggest that the Red Devils could finish the 2025-26 campaign with a bang.

United have now faced five of the traditional ‘big six’ sides at least once this season.

They have proven they can rise to the biggest occasions, beating every one of those rivals at least once (except Tottenham Hotspur, whom they face this weekend).

The Red Devils defeated Chelsea 2-1 before ending their Anfield hoodoo with the same scoreline.

They drew 2-2 with Spurs before registering blockbuster wins against Manchester City and Arsenal under Carrick.

Had it not been for their damaging slump in November and December, United could genuinely have been in the title conversation.

It is no exaggeration to say United might be genuine title contenders had they not dropped costly points against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Leeds United and West Ham United.
