As Black History Month begins, Real Salt Lake and Utah Royals FC are finding meaningful ways to celebrate and uplift Black history and culture across the state of Utah. There are many events throughout the state for all to find ways to celebrate. Rather than celebrating on the pitch at America First Field, both clubs are highlighting some of the community events, cultural programs, and educational activities taking place statewide that recognize Black contributions, achievements, and stories. 

By highlighting ways fans and community members can get out, get involved, and celebrate throughout the month, RSL and URFC continue its commitment to connection, inclusion, and community beyond the game. 

The Utah Black History Museum is the state’s first mobile museum dedicated to amplifying the stories and contributions of Black Utahns. Operating out of a renovated school bus, the museum travels to schools, community spaces, and public events, bringing important and often overlooked histories directly to communities across the state. Highlighting both local and national figures, the exhibit celebrates Black pioneers, musicians, cowboys, and everyday individuals whose impact has shaped Utah and the nation.
