A report from journalist Rudy Galetti linked Boma with a move to the Hill Dickinson Arena. He stated that Estoril were not closing the door on a departure.

Boma has also been the subject of interest from Polis club Widzew Łódź. Estoril responded to that interest by asking for €5m. According to the second report, they were only willing to offer €2m and so the deal has not advanced.
