SVEN Botman says he feels like he has "so much more to give" after signing a new long-term contract with Newcastle United.

The 26-year-old, who joined the Magpies from Lille in 2022, has committed his future to the club until the summer of 2030.

He said: “I’m really happy to sign this contract. This club has given me so much in the last three-and-a-half years.

“I’ve grown as a person and as a player here and I feel like I have so much more to give in the long term. That’s why both parties are really happy with this decision and I’m looking forward to what’s coming in the future here.”
